I'm Joe Gebhardt the Public Relations Manager at Jackson College.

Jackson College has been rewarding. I have been crafting dynamic stories highlighting students, faculty, and Jackson College Alumni. I have produced promotional videos that positively showcased the college in an effort to gain community engagement and media coverage. This role has strengthened my ability to convey compelling narratives through various media formats.

In my role as a Multimedia Journalist and News Anchor for FOX 47 News, I honed my ability to create engaging content through video journalism under tight deadlines. This experience enhanced my time management skills and allowed me to deeply connect with the Jackson community as an embedded neighborhood reporter. This included hosting daily news shows which refined my presence as an on-air personality and further developed my communication, storytelling, investigative journalism and video production abilities. ​​

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University. My hands-on experience with News Central 34 as a news anchor involved news writing, and editing for a one-hour news production. Additionally, I was on an on-air sports broadcasting personality for Moore Rock Radio 91.5 WMHW, where I hosted high school football and Central Michigan University baseball broadcasts, and co-hosted a two-hour sports talk program for two years. As Assistant News Director for WMHW, I produced a 10-minute newscast for both Moore Rock Radio 91.5 and its sister station, Mountain 101.1.
